Data from the 2017–18 National Postsecondary Student Aid Study, Administrative Collection (NPSAS:18-AC) are now available. NPSAS:18-AC is a first-of-its-kind administrative data collection of national- and state-level representative data on postsecondary students enrolled in the 2017–18 academic year. NPSAS:18-AC includes nationally representative samples of undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in postsecondary education in the United States. It also includes state-representative samples of undergraduate students in 30 states. These data comprise administrative records on student financial aid, enrollment, demographic characteristics, institution characteristics, and income for approximately 245,000 undergraduate students and 21,000 graduate students attending 1,900 postsecondary institutions. A First Look report using NPSAS:18-AC data was released in September 2021 and is available at: https://nces.ed.gov/pubsearch/pubsinfo.asp?pubid=2021476. Data are currently available for analysis to the public using PowerStats in DataLab. To use DataLab to access NPSAS:18-AC and other NCES data sets, please visit: https://nces.ed.gov/datalab/index.aspx. |
